The Maha Kumbh: An Experience of a Lifetime
The experience of going to the Maha Kumbh was heavenly. The magnitude of energy, the spiritual aura, and the piety surrounding me made the experience unforgettable. Day One: The Journey Begins We went by a tempo to the Devraha Baba Ashram, a haven of great peace and tranquility. Far removed from the noise of the world, the ashram itself felt peaceful. We lodged in a kutiya, a simple hut that intensified the spiritual nature of our trip. The most deepest of all the moments in the day was getting blessings from the sacred Babas. When they laid their palms on my head, there came this inexplicable power coursing through me—I got goosebumps. Their soft smiles, radiating love and compassion, had an aura which was simply divine. Something was unique about their presence, something indefinable, something that filled my heart with lightness and my head with tranquility.
